A group of researchers at the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research succeeded in the growth of thin films of vanadium dioxide (VO2) on hexagonal boron nitride (hBN).
Genchi Shingo is  a member of this group. This group's reaserch is introduced in Japanese News Paper（Nikkan Kogyo Shiｍbun） on Dec. 25, 2018.
